----------怎样进行词汇教学

 这一单元第一个内容Guess what the children are doing?有十一项活动需要学生掌握,分别是play football, eat pizza, ride a horse, swim, paint a picture, play table tennis, sing a song, eat spaghetti, watch TV, eat chicken.在一节课里面让学生背记这么多的生词短语,对于一个小学生来说是有一定的难度的。那么让学生只是坐那儿来背记这些词,学生肯定会觉得毫无意义,从而无兴趣学习。为此,我设计了这样一个教学环节,我让九位学生上台来,我一一问他们:What do you do during the free time? 让学生展示出他们所完成的动作,并且引导学生回答:I /We play football......然后我向大家提问:What is he/she doing? or What are they doing?  学生们马上回答:She /He is playing football.…….自然引出那八项活动。同时我用简笔画的方式将该活动展现在写字板上,并且在该画的下面整齐地板书了对应的英语,突出本节课的教学重点,并集中学生的注意力,让学生一目了然地了解本节课的教学内容。接着我又设计了这样一个活动:由一位学生在一块写字板的后面发出动作的声音,然后让别的学生来猜: What is he /she doing?

最后我设计了一个歌谣来让学生进一步掌握这十一项活动,并进行了一定的扩展:

I am playing football.        My mother is singing a song.

You are eating pizza.         Your father is eating spaghetti.

He is riding a horse.          His brother is riding a bike.

She is eating chicken.        Her sister is watching TV.

It is painting a picture.        Its friend is playing tennis.

We are playing table tennis.    Our teacher is skating.

They are swimming.          Their dog is roller blading.

 通过这个歌谣的学习,学生不仅再次学习了这十一项活动的英语表达方式,而且又复习了物主代词,一举两得。

学生加大了课堂学习的密度,在这轻松而欢快的学习环节中达到了学习的目的。
