激发兴趣·主动参与·提高能力--第二册第41课的教学实录与反思
一、 教学设计
本节课的教学内容是八年级第十一单元的第一课(Unit11 Lesson41)。在这一节课堂教学中,教师要传授的知识目标包括:词汇:date、season、write down、January、March、June、July、August、December、spring、last;日常交际用语:Which is the second/fourth/…month of the year? When is spring/summer/autumn/winter in China? It lasts from…to…. What is the date today? It’s December the 20th, 2003.通过这一节课的教学,学生应达到以下技能目标:听说:要求掌握所学的词汇和交际用语,并能熟练运用它们与人交流,传达信息;读:要求能看懂英语中日期的表达方式及有关季节的知识;写:掌握词汇的拼写,日期的表达。
这一单元的话题是围绕日期、月份和季节展开的,本课是这一话题的基础,主要涉及到月份的名称、日期的表达以及各个季节的时间。在这些知识中,序数词作为一个已经学过的内容,相对较为简单,因而根据教育学中循序渐进的原则,我将它调整到教学活动中第一部分,再通过将学生已知的月份与序数词联系起来引导学生学习其它月份的名称,然后由月份到日期,最后来谈到季节,这样由简而难,不仅使得教学环节流畅,更让学生容易掌握,学生学起来轻松才会有兴趣学。另外,从关注学生的生活经验和提高学生的学习兴趣出发,我在本节课中将会引用一些重大节日和学生及其父母的生日作为语言话题,吸引学生参与到课堂活动中来,从而达到既订的技能目标。
在本节课堂教学中,我将采用“任务型”的教学方式,借助录音机、教学磁带、单词卡片、彩色图片等教具来完成教学任务。
二、 教学实录
a) 以游戏的形式复习序数词。
Tcacher:Class, let’s play a game. I’ll divide you into two groups.Boys:Group A;Girls:Group B.If a boy says“one”,a girl should says“first”.Do you Understand?Now, let’s begin.
Student A:one

Student D:second(教师播放录音,学生跟读)
b) 通过与值日生的问答,进入新课,完成Part 1.
Teacher: Who’s on duty today?
Student A:I am.
Teacher:Is everyone here?
Student A:Yes.We are all here.
Teacher: How many students are there in our class?
Student A:45.
Teacher: How many days are there in a week?
Students: There are seven.
Teacher:Which is the second day?
Students: Monday.
Teacher: How many seasons are there in a year? What are they?
Students:Four.They’re spring, summer, autumn and winter.
Teacher:How many months are there in a year?
Students:Twelve.
Teacher: Which is the ninth month?
Students: September.
Teacher: Yes. So September is the…
Students: September is the ninth month.
Teacher:Yes, very good. I have some cards. Please find out“September”among them.Can you?
(要求学生找出已知的月份名称,并告诉大家,如:September is the ninth month.The elevnth month is November. 剩下的通过全班讨论,生问生答或生问师答的方式来学习)

c) 教师借助卡片或彩图帮助学生熟读这些单词,并完成背诵任务。通过分组竞赛的方式检查任务完成的情况。
Teacher:Now let’s have a competition. I’ll divide you into four groups.Please put The months into right order. Let’s see which group make it most quickly.OK,let’s begin.
d) 教师进行问答示范,提出新的任务。
Teacher: There are 12 months in a year. Which month is it now?
Student:It’s November.
Teacher:Good.What day is it today?
Student:It’s Tuesday.
Teacher:And what’s the date today? Do you know? OK.Let me help you.It’s NoVember the fifth, two thousand and three.(Write:November 5th, 2003 on The blackboard)
e) 练习日期的表达方式。
Teacher:There are some move dates on the Bb.Can you say them in English?(Present more dates on the Bb,eg:December 20th,2000;April 2nd,2001;August 13th,1993)
结合一些节日或生日来练习,如:When is Teachers’Day/Children’s Day/Women’s Day/ Christmas Day New Year’s Day/National Day? When is your/ your month’s birthday?
